The activity 'Three with books for young people', organised by the Three Cultures Foundation, devotes a day to Najat el Hachmi
The Three Cultures Foundation and the Libraries of Barcelona, in collaboration with the publishing house Destino, are organising a new activity of the Tres amb llibres club for young people with the aim of encouraging reading among new readers. This activity revolves around the book by the Catalan author of Moroccan origin Najat El Hachmi, El lunes nos querrán, which won the Nadal Prize in 2021. Since the publication of her first novel, El último patriarca, the Three Cultures Foundation has supported the work of this essential author.
The first of these three virtual events with books for young people will be attended by students from the Aljarafe School in Seville and the Caterina Albert Institute in Barcelona. Between February and March, they will read and comment on the book through the Tellfy application, with the head of the Fátima Mernissi library of Tres Culturas, Olga Cuadrado, acting as host.
Finally, on 24 March there will be a virtual meeting between the two institutes in which we will have testimonies from women who have lived through situations similar to those narrated by Najat in her novel.
