"All about Almodóvar": the songs in the films of the director from La Mancha will tour the districts with the voice of Adriana Rogan

The Malaga Festival celebrates its 25th edition from the 18th to the 27th of March, a very special date that the organisers want to commemorate with the city of Malaga through 'Camino al 25', a programme of cultural activities so that both locals and visitors can enjoy the magic of the festival. Within this framework, 'All about Almodóvar' is presented, a musical show that pays tribute to the songs in the films of the director Pedro Almodóvar, which are so important on a narrative and aesthetic level in his films.

The musical performance will be by the singer and actress Adriana Rogan, originally from Malaga and a participant in such well-known programmes as 'La Voz' and 'Tierra de talento', while Carlos Keysie will accompany her on the piano. Both are members of the musical group Shining Soul.

In the show, which will last approximately 45 minutes, some of the most famous songs from Almodóvar's films will be performed: 'Cucurrucucu Paloma' (Hable con ella), 'Volver' (Volver) and 'Un año de amor' (Tacones lejanos). The interpretative part of the songs will be highlighted, without losing the original essence and showing the extravagance and rawness that inhabit the director's works.

The first performance will take place next Friday 11 March at 18:00h in the Parque de Huelin, but other performances can be enjoyed until 26 March in different districts of the city:

Friday 11 March (18:00h): Huelin Park (Carretera de Cádiz).

Saturday 12 March (13:00h): El Brillante Park (Campanillas).

Saturday 12th March (18:00h): Plaza de la Inmaculada (Churriana).

Friday 18 March (18:00h): Héroes del Combate Park (Teatinos-Universidad).

Saturday 19 March (13:00h): Parque de la Alegría (Ciudad Jardín).

Saturday 19th March (18:00h): Parque de Martiricos (Palma-Palmilla).

Sunday 20 March (18:00h): Plazuela María Santísima de Dolores y Esperanza (Cruz de Humilladero).

Friday 25 March (18:00h): Virgen de las Cañas Park (Puerto de la Torre).

Saturday 26 March (13:00h): Bulevar José Iturbi (Bailén-Miraflores).

Saturday 26 March (18:00h): Curro Román Auditorium (East).

'All about Almodóvar' joins 'Nuestras Biznagas', 'Naciste con nosotros' and 'Un final feliz', as one of the activities of 'Camino al 25', so that all those who are part of the great family of cinema and the Festival can experience the joy of reaching this 25th edition, closer and more united than ever.
