"Green Autumn" at the Three Cultures Foundation with a screening and discussion for secondary school students: "Animal"

Animal

The Three Cultures Foundation, in collaboration with the French Institute, is offering an activity especially suitable for secondary school pupils in the bilingual French section.

As part of the "Green Autumn" film series, on the morning of 8 November, the film "Animal" will be screened (in original version with Spanish subtitles), followed by a talk with Vipulan Puvaneswaran, one of the main characters in the film.

Animal

"Animal". Cyril Dion. France, 2021, 120 min.

Bella and Vipulan are 16 years old and belong to the generation that thinks that the future is threatened. Climate change, the sixth mass extinction of species... 50 years from now, the planet could be uninhabitable. Despite the warnings, nothing changes in the background. So they decide to go to the heart of the problem: our relationship with the living world. Guided by the primatologist Jane Goodall and along an extraordinary journey, they will understand that we are all deeply linked to all other species. And if we preserve them, we will save ourselves too. Humans thought they could detach themselves from nature, but they are also nature. He is also an animal.
