Mediation and interculturality through emotional education

At the Three Cultures Foundation of the Mediterranean we continue to support communication processes based on interculturality as one of the most effective means of developing and sustaining the idea that all cultures deserve the same respect and that contact between different peoples is the basis of a culturally and socially richer society.   

Along these lines, we present a programme for the implementation of Emotional Intelligence that considers emotional education as the ideal vehicle for deepening and strengthening the concept of interculturality.

Throughout the different phases of the programme, and with emotional education as the cornerstone, we will focus on alternatives and tools that promote inclusive dynamics in the processes of socialisation in the educational environment, while developing skills and attitudes for active participation in the construction of a multicultural society. 

This programme is aimed at the entire educational community, both teachers and students. It will start on 29 May in Seville and will be developed later in Malaga and Algeciras.
