Its public spaces have been equipped to comply with the necessary health measures in the face of the coronavirus pandemic

Modern Arabic and Hebrew classes return with a fresh air to the Three Cultures Foundation

Classes at the Fundación Tres Culturas

Next October 13th, the Three Cultures Foundation will resume one of the most successful activities offered by the institution, which is also one of its hallmarks since 2005: the Arabic and Modern Hebrew courses, which return to the Foundation's headquarters after being interrupted due to the state of emergency.

To this end, the Foundation has reinvented its own spaces (the former Moroccan Pavilion at Expo'92 allows this to happen, given its size and the multiplicity of rooms), and has therefore set up rooms to teach these languages in areas that allow a safe distance and regular ventilation. This is the case of the so-called multimedia room, located in the very access floor to the headquarters, with capacity for 80 people in normal conditions; or the upper gallery of the building, located in the first floor, with large windows and excellent lighting.

In addition to this, there is a protocol of action that takes into account all the measures necessary to guarantee the safety of students and workers of the Foundation itself, such as the obligatory use of masks, the establishment of safety distances, the continuous cleaning and disinfection of both facilities and furniture and the ventilation of spaces, among other measures.

In addition, and depending on how events evolve with respect to COVID-19, it is envisaged that teaching may be complemented in a non-presential way, specifically through the Google Classroom platform.

The aim of all these measures is to provide students with an environment suitable for the times we live in, in which to resume their classes, both in Arabic and in modern Hebrew, courses that are adapted to different learning levels (four per language at present) and for which registration is already open.

In previous years these courses have been attended by an average of 65-75 students per year and, for weeks now, the staff of the Foundation is receiving requests in this regard, which shows this trend will continue in the future.

All the information on schedules, levels, registration deadlines and prices, among other issues, is available on the website of the Foundation (www.tresculturas.org), under the Formation section.
