Sidi Kacem revives its spirit and heritage during the Bouasriya Season 2025

The city of Sidi Kacem is preparing to host the Sidi Kacem Bouasriya Season from 24 to 28 September 2025, under the slogan ‘A shining heritage and renewed pride’, organised by the city's Municipal Council, in collaboration with the Governorate of the province of Sidi Kacem and the Sharif Qasmi.

This season celebrates the spiritual and cultural dimension of the city, providing an annual opportunity to revive its religious and social heritage and strengthen ties between the region's inhabitants and visitors from different parts of the country.

The inauguration will take place with a grand religious evening presided over by Habib Nader, governor of the province of Sidi Kacem, together with Abdelilah Ouissa, president of the Municipal Council, in the presence of local authorities, security officials and representatives of civil society. This evening is characterised by a deeply spiritual atmosphere, with segments of sama and Sufi praise.

The programme includes daily presentations of the ‘Tbourida’ equestrian tradition, with the participation of cavalry teams from various areas of the province and the region, as well as performances of popular folklore and traditional arts that reflect the richness and diversity of the local cultural heritage.

Visitors will enjoy great artistic evenings from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 September, with prominent Moroccan artists entertaining large audiences during the event, reflecting the artistic passion and spirit of collective celebration.

During the season, spaces for exchange and exhibition will be set up, bringing together local artisans and producers, where traditional and handcrafted products will be on display, thus strengthening the city's economic and tourist position.

The organisers emphasise that the Bouasriya season is not just a celebration, but a real opportunity to revive the city's collective memory, value its intangible heritage and renew pride in belonging to a land rich in history and authenticity. 

The invitation is open to everyone, both inside and outside the city, to attend this great event, which is growing in popularity year after year.
