In this regard, we would like to highlight the presence of two prestigious Moroccan speakers whose participation reinforces the link between Andalusia and Morocco in the academic and heritage fields. They are Dr Mrabih Rabou Shaibata, member of the Academic Research on Heritage and Development team at Mohamed V University in Rabat, who will speak on the protection of Hassani heritage; and Dr Hamid Aboulas, Vice-Dean of Scientific Research and Cooperation at the Faculty of Law in Tangier and Professor of Public Law at the Faculty of Law in Tetouan at Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, who will address the legal model for heritage protection in the city of Tetouan.

Both presentations highlight the importance of integrating diverse perspectives in order to understand the common challenges facing our societies in terms of cultural preservation and enhancement. Morocco and Andalusia share a unique historical and heritage legacy, the protection and promotion of which is not only a responsibility but also an opportunity for international cooperation.
