The Three Cultures Foundation offers an introductory course in Arabic language and culture
Through this course, organised jointly by the Three Cultures Foundation and Loyola Idiomas of the Loyola University, students will obtain the necessary keys to understand the current reality of the Arab world.
Aimed at anyone interested in acquiring knowledge and skills in this subject, the main objectives of this course are to acquire a global vision of the main historical and cultural milestones of the Arab-Islamic world, essential for understanding its current reality and the accumulation of factors that, broadly speaking, have given rise to it. At the same time, it aims to arouse interest in Arab culture and language so that students feel the stimulus to broaden their knowledge on their own, whether for professional, academic or personal purposes.
At the same time, the course allows participants to acquire some basic notions of the Arabic language in order to lay the foundations for long-term learning and to be able to interact in a simple way in common life situations, as well as some cultural aspects, absolutely essential in social or work relations with people from the Arab world.
The course is online and lasts 20 hours and starts on Friday 25 February 2022. The price is 170 euros.
