PHOTO/FUNDACIÓN TRES CULTURAS - The Three Cultures Foundation hosts this group exhibition curated by Nuria Delgado -director of VESANIART Art Gallery

The Three Cultures Foundation is hosting this group exhibition curated by Nuria Delgado, director of VESANIART Art Gallery, featuring works by Abraham Benzadón, Ana Pavón, Daniel Garbade, Julia Diazdel, Mar Aragón, Kelly Fischer, Pedro Peña and Sebastián Navas, in which these artists reflect on the imprint of Al-Andalus that is still alive and well in Spain. A period of maximum splendour in the Iberian Peninsula and especially in Andalusia, at the forefront of European science, philosophy, architecture, literature and music, among other disciplines.

Inaugurated in Geneva in November 2020, this exhibition now comes to the Three Cultures Foundation with the aim of bringing the public closer to contemporary Spanish art, reflecting through artistic language on the richness of cultural mixing throughout history and the relevance of the Andalusian legacy in Spain.

These eight contemporary visual artists, including the Swiss artist Kelly Fisher as guest artist, reinterpret the Andalusian legacy with a 21st century perspective using different techniques.

This exhibition is co-organised with the ICAM l'OLIVIER (Institut des Cultures Arabes et Mediterraneennes) in Geneva and the Spanish art gallery VESANIART Art Gallery, both of which are firmly committed to bringing cultures closer together and to art as a key tool for establishing this dialogue.
