Accountex, the first event of reference for professional offices, consultancies and companies, which will be held for the first time at the Ifema Madrid exhibition centre, is coming to Spain on 3 and 4 November, following the success of its celebration in London since 2012.

Accountex Spain is a collaboration between Diversified Communications, a multinational company internationally recognised as leaders in event organisation in the sector, and Ifema Madrid, Spain's leading trade fair organiser and one of Europe's leading convention centres.

This first edition will bring together around 100 confirmed companies and is free to attend. It is expected to attract more than 4,000 industry professionals, an unprecedented number for an event in this sector in Spain.

The meeting will showcase the latest technological advances in the accounting, business management and finance sector and will feature an extensive training programme and high-level content, with the aim of responding to the challenges presented by the digitisation of administrative and accounting processes.

The first edition of Accountex España will revolve around three strategic axes that will affect not only law firms, but also SMEs in the imminent future: relations with the Administration, business digitalisation and the rise of the so-called costumer centric.

The Fair will also bring together a series of topics such as the anti-fraud law, digitalisation and the Strategic Plan of the Spanish State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT), the digitalisation of the Tax Agency, cloud environments, real-time information management and collaborative solutions with the client. Among the activities to be held at the fair, the extensive programme of seminars will be predominant, including digitalisation in Public Administrations; the profile of the new advisor; innovation, automation and management of processes in professional offices; and fintech and Insurtech at the service of SME growth.

For Cristina Clavería, trade fair director of Accountex Spain, this is "a unique opportunity for professionals from all over Spain to receive training and get up to date with the latest developments. There are many companies that need a change of model to remain competitive. The sector is undergoing huge changes that are being accelerated by the digital revolution and Accountex allows them to discover them while strengthening new professional relationships".

Accountex Spain has, among other entities, the support of the Spanish Association of Business Consultants (AECEM); the Spanish Federation of Professional Associations of Tax Technicians and Tax Advisors (FETTAF); the General Council of Economists and the College of Economists of Madrid.
