Avangrid, Iberdrola's subsidiary in the United States, has begun to roll out a solution designed to transform field operations at its wind farms. First Time Right Autopilot puts generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the service of technicians to help them quickly identify and resolve any incident detected in the operation of wind turbines.

This tool is integrated into the mobile devices of field technicians, who can activate it by voice or text. First Time Right Autopilot collects relevant information to define the nature and scope of the incident before providing the technician with detailed instructions, supplemented by relevant documentation or instructional videos.

The solution enables the rapid detection and resolution of incidents in operating facilities, as well as speeding up decision-making and the implementation of solutions. This reduces downtime and improves operational efficiency.

This tool was created using Amazon Bedrock, an Amazon Web Services service that offers a selection of high-performance base models from leading Artificial Intelligence companies.
