Binter announces that from 19 April it will resume connections with two new destinations on the African continent, with the resumption of flights connecting the Canary Islands with Morocco and Senegal, in addition to those it began operating with Mauritania in November.

The airline has scheduled, for the time being, a connection with the airports of Agadir and Dakar every fortnight, which will take place on Mondays in both cases.

The flights to Dakar will depart from Gran Canaria Airport at 11:45 a.m. and land at 1:15 p.m. At 2:00 p.m. the flights will take off from Agadir and Dakar. At 14:00 hours it will take off from the Senegalese airport to land in Gran Canaria at 17:20 hours.

Flights to Agadir will take off from Gran Canaria at 12:00 to land at 13:35. At 14:20 hours, they will take off for the Canary Islands, where they will land at 16:00 hours.

The company is activating these routes following the improvement of the health situation in both destinations and with the aim of actively contributing to the maintenance of connectivity and the recovery of tourism and the economy in the linked territories.

The flights to Senegal will be operated with the airline's Embraer E195-E2 jets, which have 132 seats and a large cargo capacity in the hold. In the case of Agadir, the flights are operated on board the new aircraft.

The company recommends that all passengers consult the travel requirements set by the governments of each country prior to purchase and flight.

Thanks to the protocols and procedures put in place since the beginning of the health crisis generated by COVID-19, air transport is safe and there has only been one incident of one case for every 27 million passengers carried.
