CAF offers employment opportunities for young people committed to Latin America's development
With the aim of providing employment and development opportunities for young professionals, CAF -development bank of Latin America- has opened the call for applications for its Young Professionals for Development Programme (Prodes) to incorporate new talents. Applications can be made from February 15 to May 30, 2021.
The Prodes Programme offers full-time employment, with the benefits of an international organisation in an environment where talent contributes to the development of the region in multidisciplinary teams and with methodologies based on best practices, creativity and innovation.
"To promote sustainable development and regional integration requires innovative ideas, the best talent, and a vocation for service; that is why we are looking for young people with these characteristics to offer them a space for personal and professional growth in one of the institutions that contributes most to the wellbeing of Latin Americans," said Luis Carranza Ugarte, CAF's Executive President.
This initiative is aimed at young people around 30 years of age with a university degree, a master's degree completed or in the process of completion, outstanding academic results (among the top 20% of the graduating class), fluent in English -Portuguese desirable-, with work experience between 2 and 5 years, achievement orientation, service vocation, social purpose and commitment to the region.
The Prodes Program will allow young people to participate in the process of immersion in CAF's strategy and corporate culture, develop professional and technical competencies specialized in the area according to their training, and be accompanied by a mentor, who will complement the role of the direct supervisor, among other benefits.
