More than 30 investors interested in Dakhla met for three days in the Pearl of the South, on the occasion of the first edition of the event 'Investment Opportunities Prospecting Weekends', in order to learn about business opportunities in the region of Dakhla - Wadi Eddahab.
The meeting included networking sessions and workshops supervised by supervisors from the Regional Investment Centre (RIC) to identify investment opportunities in various productive sectors.
According to the organisers, the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region stands out for its many investment opportunities and the modern infrastructure at its disposal, making it an ideal platform for companies wishing to develop and conquer new markets.
In a statement to MAP, the director of the RIC of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Mounir Houari, said that the aim of this visit is to present to investors the potential of the region and the various investment opportunities in various sectors such as renewable energy, promotion of seafood, aquaculture, services and trade, as well as tourism.
Mounir Houari also said that this meeting aims to create B2B partnerships with local investors, with the objective of enabling the realisation of projects in various sectors. In addition, he informed potential investors about the procedures for examining and validating investment files, as well as the role of the LRC in terms of investment support.
The Nord Sud Action association in partnership with the Regional Council of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab is in charge of the 'Investment Opportunities Prospecting Weekends' as an event dedicated to exploring investment opportunities, with a view to giving a new impetus to the development dynamics experienced by the region. It aims to contribute to efforts to make Dakhla a regional economic hub and a link between Morocco and its African depths, as recalled by the Moroccan news agency MAP.
The Nord Sud Action association, in partnership with the RIC, will organise a meeting on investment in the region every last weekend of the month.
