In view of the announcement of China's implementation of comprehensive policy plans aimed at promoting foreign investment, expanding market access and strengthening communication with foreign companies and chambers of commerce in recent months, the emblematic Economic Tertulia of the Real Casino de Madrid, directed by the economist José Ramón Galván de Juan, focused on "Communication and Business: keys in an international context: China - Ibero-America".

During the meeting, renowned experts in Ibero-American-Chinese trade relations reflected on Spain's role as a connecting axis in terms of business and investment. The speakers; Ramón María Calduch, founder of the first clinics and Higher Schools of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and president 中西合作促进企业发展协会 (ACCEDER), Laura González Escallada, founding partner of NI HAO CONECTA (NHC) and senior member of the China Chair, José Luís Barceló, journalist and expert on China's commercial relations and Lisa Wang, founding partner Link The World Advisers have agreed and pointed out Spain as a key agent in triangulation.

To reflect on business and investment, Ramón María Calduch, founder of the first clinics and Higher Schools of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), president of 中西合作促进企业发展协会 (ACCEDER) and vice-president of the China Chair, pointed to the importance of understanding international and commercial relations as a catalyst for investment and business opportunities, both in China and in Latin America. Along these lines, Laura González Escallada, founder and partner of NI HAO CONECTA (NHC) pointed out that "the opening of borders and the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Spain in 2023 have set positive scenarios for the strengthening of ties between the two countries. Not only in the field of China-Spain-Latin America tourism, but also in the field of business and investment".

In terms of communication and corporate development, the Editor - Director of "El Mundo Financiero" and journalist expert in China's commercial relations, José Luís Barceló, took stock of the major milestones in the China - Spain history and the different trends in communication and marketing in both cultures. Lisa Wang, founding partner of Link The World Advisers, pointed out that, in order to develop the internationalisation of companies in China, "it is vital to understand that the People's Republic of China cannot be understood as a homogeneous market in which to develop business globally, but rather, in order to guarantee the success of any operation, it is necessary to know how to choose the region according to the sector of specialisation and develop a personalised strategy for each one".

Finally, the professor of European Union Law, International Public Law and International Relations, Javier Porras, pointed out the need to continue building and consolidating relations of cooperation and trust between different cultures for correct international development.
