Gas supply from Algeria to Spain suspended due to a breakdown

A breakdown on the Spanish side of the Medgaz gas pipeline linking Algeria to Spain caused "a temporary interruption of gas supplies to Spain" on Sunday, Algerian hydrocarbons company Sonatrach said in a statement.

"Spanish technical teams are working intensively to carry out the necessary repairs and restore gas supplies to Spain as soon as possible," the same source said.
