Iberdrola receives Rankia's Best Shareholder Service Award
The Rankia Award for Best Shareholder Service recognises Iberdrola for its transparency, accessibility and communication with investors
The Iberdrola Group has been recognised for the quality of its service to shareholders, highlighting the transparency of the information provided, as well as the accessibility of its services and the quality of its communication at the Rankia Awards 2025.
The award for Best Shareholder Service by a listed company was granted following a nomination by Rankia, the Spanish-language website dedicated to investors, for the positive feedback received throughout the year. The final decision was made by a vote of its 150,000 users, who chose Iberdrola as the listed company with the best service to its customers and investors.
The award highlights the company's efforts to maintain constant contact with its shareholders. 2025 will mark a decade since the creation of the group's policy of permanent engagement with shareholders, one of the cornerstones of the company's governance model. This commitment to creating a channel for ongoing dialogue with its shareholders, who are fundamental to Iberdrola's growth, has driven various initiatives aimed at creating long-term value.
Through personalised attention and the constant sending of relevant communications and information of interest about the company and the sector, Iberdrola has worked to offer them the best tools to make the best decisions.
With the launch of the Engagement Space section on its website, the company compiles all the information of interest to those who participate or wish to participate in the company. It thus publicly and clearly shares the basis of its relationship with shareholders and facilitates access to the various channels of involvement to facilitate communication and active listening between the two parties: the General Shareholders' Meeting, where investors can participate in the company's decision-making; the Investor Relations app, where they can follow all the latest news; the OLA Shareholder Club, where you can consult all relevant information and request clarifications, as well as enjoy exclusive benefits. These are some of the mechanisms that Iberdrola has made available over the years to strengthen this important synergy.
This complements the more traditional channels such as telephone, email or direct contact with the Shareholder Office to offer maximum transparency.
In addition to a digital and accessible space, the company holds meetings to strengthen dialogue with its shareholders. The most recent ones took place in December 2025 in London and Glasgow, where it shared details of its 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, presented in September during Capital Markets Day, with its British shareholders.
