Both companies reinforce their commitment to electric mobility in the country and to achieving a more sustainable present and future

Iberdrola signs an agreement with Nissan to promote sustainable mobility in Italy

Nissan and Iberdrola have signed a partnership agreement to strengthen their commitment to electric mobility in Italy and to achieving a more sustainable present and future. Under the terms of the agreement, Nissan is offering those who purchase its LEAF, Ariya - Nissan's first 100% electric SUV coupe - or Townstar - the compact commercial vehicle ideal for urban business and last mile deliveries - Iberdrola's complete Smart Mobility electric mobility package that includes a Wallbox Pulsar Plus electric charging station and installation of the device.

The Wallbox Pulsar Plus device is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to optimise home charging performance and can be integrated with the optional Powerboost accessory, which allows the current used to recharge the car to be modulated, depending on household consumption. Furthermore, through a dedicated application, it is possible to manage access, schedule charging, monitor energy consumption and view the charging history.

This new business partnership has a broad scope that goes beyond mobility solutions. As such, customers who purchase a Nissan EV and add the Smart Mobility package to their purchase will be able to access a comprehensive package of benefits from Iberdrola, ranging from bill discounts to one-off discounts on Smart Solutions products. Details of the offers and how to access them are available from the Nissan dealer network.

A partnership based on shared values and goals

Marco Toro, President and CEO of Nissan Italy, said: "Nissan is extending its offer to its electric vehicle customers with a 360° package of products and services that includes the charging system, electricity bill discounts and other products. In Iberdrola we have found a partner who, like us, always puts the customer at the centre and makes sustainability a strategic pillar. Thanks to this new partnership, our customers can have a broader and more convenient shopping experience, combining electric mobility solutions and economic advantages in energy supply and related services".

Lorenzo Costantini, Iberdrola's country manager, explained that the company strives every day to accelerate the green transition in the countries where it operates and noted that "developing our Smart Mobility offering, making it increasingly accessible to customers, is part of that strategy. With Nissan, we have entered into a partnership that reinforces our mission towards an increasingly sustainable future. In addition, our Wallbox smart charging systems are wall-mounted stations created to recharge electric cars quickly and safely. An innovative product that comes with the Smart Mobility Home app, through which you can manage charging directly from your smartphone, for an increasingly satisfying user experience".
