IMEX-Madrid 2025 is coming
Madrid City Council's Palacio de Cibeles will host the 23rd edition of IMEX-Madrid on 19th and 20th February.
This international business, foreign trade and investment fair covers various areas such as the agri-food sector, financing, consulting, logistics, digital transformation, geostrategy, talent, etc. It offers a wide and diversified range of information on the foreign economic and commercial sector in a single space.
Morocco is the guest country and will have its own stand. At the fair itself, the Regional Investment Centre of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region and the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and Nador will organise the Doing Business event to showcase their regional, industrial and logistical offer. The Regional Investment Centre will take care of the Moroccan guests and the Chamber will take care of the Spanish guests.
The inaugural panel, on 19th February from 09:15, will be attended by Karima Benyaich, Moroccan ambassador to Spain, Abdelhamid El Hsissen, president of the Economic Commission of the Council of the Region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Amine El Harti, director of the Economic Impulse and Territorial Offer Pole at the Regional Investment Centre of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Amal Boussouf, director of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Morocco, Tangier-Nador, Bouchta El Moumni, president of Abdelmalek Essaadi University, José Ignacio Pino de la Chica, co-vice-president of the Morocco-Spain Economic Council (CEMAES), Mohamed Jaouad Arsalane, representative of the General Confederation of Moroccan Businesses (CGEM), and Jaime Ussía Muñoz-Seca, president of IMEX.
Following the opening panel, at 10:00 in the morning, the territorial offer and investment incentives in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region will be presented by Noussaira El Harrak, Head of Department and Territorial Promotion. Representatives of the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency will also talk about the New Investment Charter, which, under the guidelines of King Mohammed VI, provides significant incentives, aid, tax exemptions and administrative facilities to attract all types of investment, both domestic and foreign, to the North African country.
The IMEX-Madrid 2025 Fair will also feature successful business cases in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region such as INCOM, Baleària and Endesa and the intervention of Hasna Benyaich, Senior Business Development Manager of Tanger Med Zones, to talk about the port of Tangier Med as a development locomotive for the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
Also on display at the Morocco Stand from 15:00 will be the territorial, industrial and logistical offer of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, with the participation of Chakir Bouatia, Development Director of MEDZ; together with the high quality training offer of Abdelmalek Essaadi University.
On the 20th, the Morocco Stand will host interesting thematic conferences on financing solutions adapted to various projects and on the taxation of investments in Moroccan territory, with the presence of representatives of the North Fund for Development and Investment (NORDEV) and the Regional Investment Support Fund of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council and with accounting experts.
The diversified regional dynamics of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region will also be analysed with reference to sectors such as the automotive industry, renewable energies, tourism and agri-food and the participation of entities such as AMICA, Cluster Energies, Société d'Ingénierie Energétique, SMIT, ONSSA, Foodex and ANDA.
The IMEX fair will have 60 exhibiting companies and offers the possibility of arranging meetings with economic and commercial representatives from up to 66 countries.
The IMEX-Madrid programme includes 51 round tables and a range of very relevant conferences on investment, business and internationalisation, featuring 70 speakers.
All those attending IMEX-Madrid will be able to find all the keys to internationalising their company by contacting up to 60 exhibiting companies and enjoying B2B meetings with Spanish businesspeople. They will also be able to enjoy round tables and conferences, with the possibility of arranging meetings with economic and commercial managers from more than 60 countries.
