Indra Group and Fundación Universia, which is supported by Banco Santander in its activities, have launched the first call for STEM Scholarships, which seeks to promote young talent among people with disabilities in the field of science and technology. The aim is to facilitate access to higher education in disciplines with high professional demand, contributing to a more equitable and competitive society.

This new scholarship programme is aimed at students with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% who are enrolled in university and vocational training degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) during the 2025-2026 academic year. In this first edition, 15 grants of €2,000 each will be awarded to undergraduate, master's, doctoral or vocational training students.

With this call for applications, Indra Group and Fundación Universia reaffirm their commitment to equal opportunities and the inclusion of talented individuals with disabilities in key sectors for digital transformation and innovation, while also promoting greater awareness of the needs of this group and improving technological accessibility.

Applications can be submitted through Santander Open Academy until 19 March 2026.
