In line with its strategic plan "Leading the Future", Indra Group has strengthened its organisation to become the Spanish multinational of reference in defence, aerospace and advanced digital technologies, with a key role in Europe and a larger global footprint.

As of 1 September, the company will incorporate as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Miguel Forteza, until now Deputy CFO and Chief Investment Officer of Nortia Capital Investment, where he has been responsible for the financial area, budgets and investments, as well as the definition of the strategic plan and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions). As part of this group, he has been chairman of Nortia Capital Riesgo SCR and director and member of the advisory committee of different entities. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer at Citigroup, where he worked for 14 years, after working at Ardizia de Inversiones, Self Trade Bank, Merrill Lynch and Banco Inversión.

Forteza, who will become part of Indra's Management Committee and will report to the CEO, fills the vacancy left at the end of February this year by the former CFO, Borja García Alarcón.

Organisation by region

In addition to incorporating Miguel Forteza, Indra Group defines an international organisation structured in regional clusters which will be operational as of 1 September, and appoints its heads who will be invited members of the Management Committee, thus giving a boost to its international strategy announced in the presentation of its 24-26 plan:

  • Latin America and Southern Europe, will be headed by Pedro Rodríguez Veiga, who until now has been in charge of Minsait's international business. This cluster will report to Luis Abril, Minsait's executive director.
  • The Middle East cluster will be led by Luis Permuy, who has been responsible for Indra's Asia, Middle East and Africa business since 2016. This cluster will report to José Vicente de los Mozos, CEO of Indra Group.
  • United States, United Kingdom and Northern Europe, whose leadership will be assumed by Jacinto Monge, who will join Indra Group after more than 20 years of professional experience in companies such as Airbus Military or Bell Flight. This cluster will report to José Vicente de los Mozos, CEO of Indra Group.

The rest of the world will be coordinated in an export model by José Luis Gascó, until now responsible for Asia-Pacific, reporting to Borja Ochoa, General Director of Defence.
