Indra Group has strengthened its management team in Catalonia with the appointment of Anna Ortí as the new head of this autonomous community. With more than 13 years of development in the company and two decades of experience in the public sector, Ortí brings solid experience in the institutional environment and in the modernisation, digitalisation and management of public administrations.

She has spent the last 13 years of her career at Indra Group, where, as head of Minsait's Public Administration Department, she has successfully led strategic transformation projects in Catalonia with a notable impact on citizens. Her career at the company reflects Indra Group's commitment to internal talent and the professional development of its teams.

Anna Ortí holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and has complemented her training with a Master's Degree in Public Management from ESADE. She has also participated in ESADE's Public-Private Partnership Programme and the SEPI Foundation's Senior Management Programme. She has also taught Information Systems in Organisations at ESADE.

With this appointment, Indra Group reaffirms its commitment to Catalonia, an autonomous community in which it has a growth plan that seeks to expand capabilities in strategic areas such as communications, space and cybersecurity. The company plans to promote high added-value projects and create up to 1,000 jobs in Catalonia, thus consolidating its role as a driver of innovation and technological development.

In addition, Indra Group is strengthening its position in Catalonia through strategic alliances, including collaboration with Ficosa in the field of defence, focused on the development of electro-optical equipment for the VCR 8x8 Dragón and VAC vehicles, as well as an agreement with the cybersecurity company Sirt to promote joint capabilities in cyber defence and space.
