  1. Commitment to inclusion and social impact

Indra Group has reached an agreement with the Spanish Paralympic Committee to become the official sponsor of the Spanish team that will participate in the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, as well as the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games in Milan-Cortina.

The company will help these elite athletes prepare for success in the highest level of Paralympic competition, promoting the values they embody and conveying messages of inclusion and equal opportunities for all.

Ángel Escribano, Executive Chairman of Indra Group; José Vicente de los Mozos, CEO of Indra Group; and Alberto Durán López, President of the Spanish Paralympic Committee, signed the agreement during a ceremony held at the Ifema exhibition centre in Madrid.

Indra Group thus joins the Paralympic family, made up of the entities that support the Plan to Support Paralympic Sports (ADOP), which enable athletes who represent Spain internationally to have the necessary resources for their preparation: financial grants to enable them to devote themselves to sport as their primary activity in life, training at high-performance centres and multidisciplinary services in medicine, physiotherapy, psychology, physiology and nutrition.

The support of Indra Group will help Spanish Paralympic athletes face their journey to Los Angeles 2028 in the best possible conditions, with the aim of equalling or surpassing the success achieved in Paris 2024, where the national team won a total of 39 medals, including 6 gold, 11 silver and 22 bronze.

Commitment to inclusion and social impact

With this agreement, Indra Group reaffirms its commitment to inclusion and the values of Paralympic sport, such as equal opportunities, overcoming adversity, effort, excellence, resilience and teamwork.

The company actively collaborates with numerous institutions, universities and public and private organisations, both nationally and internationally, with the firm intention of contributing to the development of a more inclusive and equitable society through technological innovation, education, technological employment and the promotion of STEM vocations and sport.
