Indra is recognised for the sixth consecutive year as one of the best companies to work for
Indra, a leading global technology engineering company for the aerospace, defence and mobility sectors, has been recognised for the sixth consecutive year as one of the best companies to work for in Spain. The company has obtained the Top Employer certification, which endorses its commitment to talent management and the career development of its professionals, as well as the best working environment.
The ranking, carried out by the Top Employers Institute, carries out an exhaustive analysis in which all talent management processes are evaluated and also incorporates the conclusions of an external audit.
Within the different categories that appear in the analysis, Indra obtained a 100% score in ethics and integrity, and stands out, with a score of over 90%, for its employer brand, Engineering the Future, with which it presents itself to STEAM talent, which it seeks to attract to its defence, aerospace and mobility projects, as well as for its learning model and the onboarding process it offers to new recruits.
It also scored above 80% in categories such as talent attraction and development, two dimensions for which it is also above average in its sector.
"At Indra we are at a unique moment of growth. From the Talent function, we continue to work to adapt our talent attraction and retention strategies in response to an environment of high demand for technology profiles. Our focus is on the experience of the people who form part of our company, so that they find the best environment for personal and professional development at Indra. We have a unique platform that allows our professionals to participate and contribute to the most challenging technology and technological engineering projects in the market, hand in hand with experts who are a reference worldwide. Together, we develop innovative solutions that contribute to creating a better future and leave a mark on society", says Sofía Collado, Indra's Human Resources Director.
Developing technological talent
Indra has been working for years to improve its positioning in terms of STEAM talent in order to respond to the strong growth of its aerospace, defence and mobility businesses and the high demand for qualified professionals needed in the projects it leads internationally, such as FCAS, the largest and most advanced defence programme launched in Europe to develop the future European air combat system.
To attract and retain the best professionals in the engineering and technology sector, the company offers its professionals a wide range of opportunities to boost their talent by leading their own development. An example of this is the Indra Engineering+Technology Campus, the space where Indra's engineers are being trained to acquire the most advanced knowledge to be at the forefront of the sector in schools designed and led by the company's experts in areas of high technological specialisation, such as radar, electronic defence or digital technologies.
Through its ambitious talent development programmes aimed at both junior and senior talent, Indra's professionals find in the company a wide range of programmes, tools and resources for the development of their talent adapted to their career and role, with which to guarantee the present and future sustainability of its businesses.
As part of its commitment to innovation and to promoting the entrepreneurial spirit of its professionals, Indra has Innovators, its intrapreneurship initiative, which in December last year completed its seventh edition.
This commitment to talent development has earned Indra multiple national and international awards in recent years, such as being included among the top 50 Spanish companies and the best in the technology engineering sector for Merco Talento.
