"Leading the future": Indra's Strategic Plan for the coming years
Indra, one of the world's leading consulting and technology firms, will develop a strategic plan for the years 2024-2026 with the aim of extending it beyond 2030. The company, which achieved sales of 3,851 million euros in 2022, is present in 46 countries and operates in more than 140 markets, mainly in the Transport, Air Traffic and Defence sectors.
The Strategic Plan will be based on growth through various vectors, such as the optimisation of the global footprint, the simplification and development of the portfolio and the vocation of its added value in all Indra's activities. In order to set the standard for its markets, the company wants to leverage its technological prowess, innovation potential and customer-centric culture.
In addition, Indra is a true leader in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), a set of criteria that measure the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a business or company. ESG is the primary consideration in every strategic choice Indra makes because the business is dedicated to minimising its environmental impact, fostering social inclusion and diversity, and ensuring good governance practices. Indra has been recognised by several international indices and ratings for its ESG performance, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, the FTSE4Good Index Series, and the CDP Climate Change.
The company has decided to call this plan "Leading the Future", as it reflects its ambition to be a benchmark company in all the areas in which it acts as a leader.
José Vicente de los Mozos, Indra's CEO, said: "We want Indra to be a benchmark company in all the areas in which it acts as a leader, that is why we have decided to call this plan 'Leading the Future'".
José Vicente de los Mozos, who took over as CEO of Indra on 18 May this year, has a long track record in the industrial sector, especially in the automotive sector, with high positions in companies such as Nissan Motor Ibérica, FICOSA, Renault, as well as the presidency of the National Association of Car and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC). Awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic by the Spanish Government in 2022, De los Mozos has a strong commitment to the industrial and technological development of the country, and his experience in the automotive sector will be reflected in his ambitions to make Indra a benchmark company in the technology and security sector.
