Minsait Payments launches Yi An
UnionPay has been increasing its card acceptance in 183 countries and regions in recent years. The company has concluded numerous agreements such as the one reached with Pecunpay, an Electronic Money Institution regulated by the Bank of Spain authorised to provide issuing, acquiring and escrow account services.
In the quest to provide greater convenience to European travellers to Asia, especially China, Pecunpay and UnionPay have collaborated in the creation of the Yi An app with the aim of introducing the UnionPay debit card, which is very popular in Asia, to the market.
The launch of the Yi An app has been a major milestone for both companies, creating a new digital product focused on making it much easier for anyone travelling to Asia, whether they are professionals or individuals, to make payments in different ways. Minsait Payments, together with its Fintech Pecunpay, has launched this app so that customers can apply for the UnionPay card in real time without any complications, offering a frictionless digital onboarding. The value proposition of the Yi An app aims to provide customers with fast and secure access to the payment network, reducing any payment difficulties during their stay.
Among the many advantages of the Yi An app are the HCE and QR contactless mobile payment technology, which allows you to pay directly from your mobile phone in any type of shop, restaurant, airport; top up your card with a simple transfer against another card, or transfer the remaining amount to another account; direct debit bills and deposits, withdraw and deposit cash with your mobile phone or even take out travel insurance and legal assistance free of charge.
