Minsait speeds up all Minor Hotels Europe & Americas' online bookings on the AWS cloub

The digital transformation company undertakes the migration of the hotel chain's booking infrastructure to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud
  1. Lower costs, higher performance and a better experience

Minsait, an Indra Group company, evolves the reservation distribution system of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas - formerly NH Hotel Group - to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.

This platform implemented by Minsait includes the reservation distributor, i.e. the system that allows a customer to connect with a Minor Hotels Europe & Americas establishment regardless of where they are or the channel used to stay in one of the more than 55,000 rooms in the 350 establishments it has in 30 countries in Europe and the Americas.

Also available for the Minor Hotels Europe & Americas website, this interface facilitates the communication of customer bookings with the hotel management platform because it is able to translate messages from online travel agencies and share availability and inventory of rooms and services.

Meanwhile, the AWS Cloud improves performance through its processing power and scalability, resulting in improved information availability and faster booking processes.

Lower costs, higher performance and a better experience

The project allows Minor Hotels Europe & Americas to adapt to the demands of its customers in a scalable and flexible way thanks to the AWS cloud. The hotel chain can thus adjust costs, offer optimal performance and improve customer experience through the booking distribution platform implemented by Minsait.

Marta Marcos, Senior Vice President Information Technology & Systems at Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, comments: "For us, technology is key in all our processes, as it allows us to improve the guest experience by offering a more agile, secure, comfortable and on-demand service while facilitating and complementing the work of our teams".

Emilio Mora, Global Director of Hospitality, Airlines and International Industry at Minsait, highlights the possibility of "managing the reservations of all Minor Hotels Europe & Americas establishments in a complete and integrated manner and, from the AWS cloud, the chain will be able to guarantee the stability, security and efficiency of its technological infrastructure and have a solid base that favours its growth and capacity for innovation in the tourism sector".
