Marruecos y Renault apuestan por la formación de talento cualificado

The Renault Morocco Group is pursuing new job skills and more qualified training in the automotive sector in view of the rapid evolution of the sector towards the production of new types of cars more in line with hybrid and renewable energies and new digital and Industry 4.0 developments.
In this regard, the Renault Morocco Group has signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Enterprises, Employment and Skills, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco to support the Office of Vocational Training, Promotion and Labour (OFPPT) in the implementation of training programs suitable to meet the future developments of the automotive sector. Through this partnership agreement, Renault Group Morocco will support the development of sector-wide skills in digitalisation, Industry 4.0 and renewable energies.
The French automotive company will support the OFPPT in the creation of the "City of Trades and Skills" in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, a new-generation training facility. This agreement also includes support for the creation of innovative companies in the automotive sector and access for OFPPT trainers and trainees to the French company's facilities.
The Moroccan government undertakes to provide the necessary resources to the automotive company through two agreements aimed at strengthening training and capacity building in the automotive industry.
Present at the signing ceremony of the agreements, held on Thursday in Rabat, were the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, the Director General of the Office of Vocational Training, Promotion and Labour (OFPPT), Loubna Tricha, along with Mohammed Bachiri, CEO of the Renault Morocco Group.
This alliance constitutes a public-private partnership that "aims to support the evolution and development of the automotive industry by preparing qualified human resources in line with the skills needs of manufacturers," according to the official meeting in Rabat.
More than ever, the Renault Morocco Group is playing its role as a driving force and remains committed to the development of the national automotive industry and the improvement of the skills of its human resources, which will benefit the creation of more skilled jobs in the North African country.
The first agreement initialled with the Renault Morocco Group aims to develop a diversified offer of vocational training dedicated to the automotive sector, as well as to meet the needs of the Group's Human Resources Department. The Renault Morocco Group undertakes to support the OFPPT in the development of training courses, particularly in Industry 4.0 and renewable energies, as well as to define the technical and educational equipment for the benefit of the "City of Trades and Skills" of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima. The French automotive company will also help to create an incubator for start-up companies related to the automotive sector in the "City of Trades and Skills" itself.
"This partnership agreement supports the OFPPT in the creation of appropriate training programmes to respond to technological developments in the automotive sector," explained Mohammed Bachiri.
The second agreement signed with the SNOP company concerns the development of a training offer in "industrial maintenance", with a view to the development of alternating training in industrial maintenance, with the challenge also of providing technical and didactic equipment for the benefit of certain OFPPT training centres whose trainers will also benefit from certified training days, as reported by L'Opinion.
"The agreements signed today will enable the development of new skills in a constantly evolving labour market in the automotive sector and the integration of young people into the national productive fabric," said Minister Ryad Mezzour, who added that "efforts are continuing to meet the new challenges of vocational training in line with the ecosystem and thus promote the increased performance of Moroccan industry".
Meanwhile, Loubna Tricha expressed her satisfaction with the agreement reached: "We are happy to be able to support today through this signature of the Renault Morocco Group and SNOP the development of training adapted to the technical and technological advances of the automotive sector. This shows a common conviction that human capital is fundamental to the development of industrial sectors".
