The current economic boom in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region has been made possible by the achievements made since the accession to the throne of King Mohammed VI. As a natural strategic point at the crossroads between Europe, Africa, America and Asia, the region has managed to attract major investments in just a few years due to its outstanding infrastructures, such as the renowned Tangier Med port complex and the first high-speed railway line in Africa, in addition to the various economic opportunities it offers.

Thanks to an innovative approach based on synergy, integration and coherence of public interventions, ambitious projects led under the enlightened vision of King Mohammed VI continue to shape a new economic centre focused on the industries of the future. The growing demand for industrial land has generated new economic and industrial opportunities in the region.

The territory strives to provide sustainable and well-equipped infrastructures that meet international standards, creating a favourable environment for investors interested in locating there. This is reflected in the constant creation of new industrial estates and business parks of different types.

The Cité Mohammed VI Tanger Tech is one of the latest outstanding projects confirming the region's commitment to the development of high-tech industry and the generation of employment. This innovative model is composed of a new generation of multidimensional industrial zones.

Currently, the region has 18 industrial estates and business parks in operation, occupying an area of approximately 4,700 hectares. In addition, the launch of new 300-hectare business parks, with an investment of Dh1 billion, has been announced.

The industrial areas of economic activity are spread over 7 different regions with one zone in Ouezzane, two in M'Diq Fnideq, Tetouan and Al Hoceima, four in Fahs Anjra, five in Larache and 8 in Tangier Asilah.

The director of the Regional Investment Centre of the region of Tangier, Tetouan and Al Hoceima, Jalal Benhayoun, presents the guide by stating that the current economic boom in the region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima has been possible thanks to the consolidation of the achievements made since the accession to the throne of the Moroccan king.

The organisers invite interested parties to join the path towards a prosperous economic outlook in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
