Neoenergia Cosern breaks record with eight trophies at the 2025 Abradee Awards

Neoenergia, Iberdrola's subsidiary in Brazil, has consolidated its position as leader in the Brazilian electricity sector by achieving a record eight trophies at the 2025 Abradee Awards, including the awards for “Best Company” in the sector nationwide, as well as in the north-west and south-west regions, and “Best Operational Evolution”, the most prestigious categories.

These awards, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Electricity Distributors, are considered the most important in the sector and recognise energy distributors that have excelled in areas such as management quality, innovation, sustainability, customer evaluation and operational performance, among others.

This year's edition had special significance, coinciding with Abradee's 50th anniversary and bringing together industry authorities, government representatives, regulatory agencies and business leaders.
