PROCUMAR announces the official launch of the construction of its new plant in Larache

PROCUMAR announces the official launch of the construction of its new plant in the Agropole of Loukkos, in the province of Larache. This project, which represents an investment of 140 million dirhams over an area of more than 36,000 m², will strengthen PROCUMAR's presence in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region and consolidate its presence and commitment to the socio-economic development of the province of Larache. 

This new plant, which will reinforce the company's already operational units in the province, confirms the company's interest in expanding its activities in the region, given the business climate and the maturity of the ecosystem present there. 

The new project, scheduled to come on stream in September 2025, will create at least 400 direct and permanent jobs, consolidating the company's position as a major employer in the province of Larache. It will also help stimulate the local economy and reinforce the economic momentum generated by the establishment of the agropolo. 

Thanks to the comprehensive support of the Centre Régional d'Investissement de la région Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (CRI TTA) and local stakeholders, PROCUMAR has benefited from permanent accompaniment, from the prospecting phase to obtaining all the necessary administrative authorisations, which were issued in record time. This exemplary support will facilitate the rapid completion and implementation of this important project. 

PROCUMAR expresses its gratitude to all partners and stakeholders involved in the realisation of this ambitious project. The groundbreaking ceremony at the Loukkos Agropolis symbolises the beginning of a promising new phase for PROCUMAR and for the province of Larache. 

PROCUMAR's director recalled that since the creation of the company in 1992, with three operational plants, the company "has contributed substantially to the economic and social development of the province, through significant foreign direct investments and the creation of thousands of jobs". 

"We are determined to provide all necessary support not only to the projects of the Loukkos agropolis, but also to those of the entire province of Larache and to those in implementation of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI may God assist him, who attaches particular importance to productive investment as a vector of growth of the Kingdom," he added.
