Gustavo de Arístegui, diplomat, ambassador and member of parliament for the Popular Party, stated in La Razón on 5 January that the capture of Nicolás Maduro by the United States represents a historic turning point in Venezuela and an example of how international justice can act against leaders involved in narco-terrorism and organised crime.
