Maroc Telecom and Vodafone Business join forces to drive digital transformation in Morocco

Maroc Telecom and Vodafone Business have signed a memorandum of understanding marking the start of a strategic partnership to accelerate the digitalisation of businesses and the public sector in Morocco. This initiative is part of the national vision to make the Kingdom a leading regional digital hub by 2030.  

The agreement provides for the joint development of an integrated range of digital services and advanced connectivity solutions, aimed at both the private sector and public institutions. In the first phase, the collaboration will focus on key areas such as energy management and the development of smart cities, which are fundamental pillars for building a sustainable digital ecosystem. 

In the medium term, the alliance will be expanded to include services such as software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN), private mobile networks, cloud solutions, cybersecurity and customisable connectivity services. Businesses and institutions will be able to combine Vodafone Business' global expertise with Maroc Telecom's in-depth knowledge of the local market, ensuring regulatory compliance and adaptation to each customer's specific needs.

In addition, the collaboration will address the needs of multinational and regional customers operating in strategic sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, retail and public services. These customers will benefit from a unified portfolio of managed services, easily deployable across multiple markets, with comprehensive support in both the pre-sales and post-sales stages, including billing, implementation and technical management.
