Morocco participates in the IV Sino-Arab Forum on Technology Transfer and Innovation
Morocco took part on Thursday, via videoconference, in the 4th Sino-Arab Cooperation Forum dedicated to technology transfer and innovation, an initiative organised by the Sino-Arab Centre for Technology Transfer.
The 4th Sino-Arab Cooperation Forum in the field of technology transfer and innovation was held within the fifth edition of the China-Arab Trade Fair under the theme 'Deepening Economic and Trade Cooperation and Joint Construction of the Belt and Road'.
The purpose of the initiative is to exchange views and experiences for the joint work of regional platforms for scientific and technological collaboration, to share the progress achieved and to enhance cooperation in the areas of technology and innovation.
The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Alawi kingdom issued an official statement, released by the Moroccan news agency MAP, in which it pointed out that the Forum was attended by a large number of ministers, ambassadors and representatives of scientific and technological organisations and research institutes from China and Arab countries.
Morocco is also taking part in the 5th China-Arab Countries Exhibition, organised from 19 to 22 August in Ningxia (Shanxi province) in China, as confirmed by the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investment and Exports (AMDIE).
The Kingdom thus strengthens bilateral relations with China and boosts the promotion of the Moroccan economy in the Chinese market, as explained the AMDIE, which is cooperating in the organisation of Morocco's participation in the exhibition.
The Kingdom is thus present through a 200 m² pavilion "entirely digitised" to highlight the Moroccan offer in various sectors, the AMDIE reported, adding that the pavilion is animated by the "generous contribution" of the digital promotion tools of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), the Tangier Med Special Agency (TMSA) and the House of Crafts.
In addition to this exhibition, Morocco is co-organising, in partnership with the China Council for the Development of International Trade (CCPIT), a conference dedicated to the promotion of investment and trade in a hybrid format: face-to-face for Chinese participants and online for Moroccan participants, as explained by AMDIE and reported by the MAP agency.
The conference will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM).
