Representatives from 24 countries attend TECNOSEC DRONExpo

Representatives from Brazil, Chile, China, India, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States and others will visit the fair

On 8 and 9 May, the 3rd edition of the TECNOSEC + DRONExpo 2024 Fair will be held at the Pabellón de Cristal de la Casa de Campo in Madrid, and will be opened by Major General Manuel Navarrete, Director of the Centre for Intelligence against Terrorism and Organised Crime (CITCO). 

The opening will also be attended by the Director General of the Municipal Police of Madrid, Pablo Rodríguez, and the Commissioner General of the Scientific Police of the National Police, Carmen Solís. 

During the two days of the fair, authorities from the Community of Madrid and from different ministerial departments are expected to attend. 

More than 100 companies, 24 countries and thousands of visitors 

The event will be attended by the 100 most representative companies in the Security, Intelligence, Drones and Anti-drones sector, which will exhibit disruptive solutions in various technological areas for police operations, security, drones and anti-drones.  

In addition, commercial attachés, police officers, Interior or Security and Defence attachés, embassy representatives and security directors of private companies from: Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Hungary, India, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Mexico, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States. 

So far, more than 3,500 professionals have already registered, including senior officials and technical and security personnel from ministerial departments such as: Royal Court, Presidency of the Government, Ministries of the Interior, Defence, Transport, Economy, Justice, Finance, etc. 

Also attending TECNOSEC DRONExpo 2024 will be police officers from the Ertzaintza, Policía Foral de Navarra and Mossos d'Esquadra, as well as municipal corporations from all over Spain, and large companies such as Amazon, Repsol, Moody's, Ifema, Puy de Fou, LaLiga or MediaMarkt. 

Institutional support and participating companies 

The National Police, Civil Guard, Madrid Municipal Police and Customs Surveillance will be present at the fair with their own stands, and CITO, FCS, ENAIRE, AESA and Ineco, among other institutions, will be taking part in round tables and presentations, collaborating at an institutional level with the organisation of TECNOSEC DRONExpo 2024. 

This third edition of TECNOSEC DRONExpo is sponsored by Telefónica, Indra, Bluenest, Ineco and Zebra. 

The fair will be divided into two areas: TECNOSEC, with companies such as Telefónica, Indra, Airbus, Thales, Target Tecnología, Cicomtec, OnRetrieval, Ondata and Sistelec; and DRONExpo, with companies such as Etra, DJI Ars Madrid, Zelenza, Mempro, Aeromedia, ITG Drone Solutions, HLD and System Drone España. Some of them will make exclusive presentations of their solutions during the fair at European level, and also at national level. 

Finalists I DRONExpo Awards 

During the event, specifically on 8 May at 16:00h, the 1st DRONExpo Awards will be held, with the award ceremony presided over by the Secretary General for Air and Maritime Transport, Benito Núñez, and attended by the Director of AESA, Monserrat Mestres. 

Among the 12 finalists, whose winners will be announced during the awards ceremony, are the ITG Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia; the Local Police of the Benidorm City Council; the National Police; and the General Secretariat of Fisheries. 

Artificial Intelligence and Urban Aerial Mobility 

At DRONExpo, Artificial Intelligence in the processing of information, data and images, collected by all types of sensors in surveillance, inspection, agriculture 4.0, security and defence operations, will play a leading role in the exhibition. 

Likewise, new developments in Urban Aerial Mobility UAM in infrastructures, management software, platforms and services, will be present in a specific congress within the official agenda of DRONExpo.
