The Digital Prosperity Awards are built around three fundamental pillars. Each pillar is rewarded in individual categories, each representing a crucial aspect of digital progress:
- Rewards outstanding initiatives that have leveraged disruptive technology solutions to drive positive change and significant progress.
- Rewards exemplary efforts in using digital technologies to improve decision-making processes, thereby fostering progress and prosperity.
- Highlights outstanding cooperative efforts that leverage digital solutions to foster progress and prosperity.
- Rewards exemplary initiatives that demonstrate ethical practices and principles in the use of digital technologies for societal progress and prosperity.
This award recognises outstanding contributions to harnessing digital innovations to address environmental challenges and promote sustainability for a prosperous future.
"The creation of these awards is an important step in recognising outstanding digital contributions by businesses that promote prosperity for all," said Deemah AlYahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO). We look forward to identifying the best digital innovators from DCO member states and around the world who are benefiting humanity.
The awards aim to recognise outstanding initiatives in adopting best practices, policies and strategies to accelerate digital transformation in their respective countries. The aim is to accelerate progress in the digital economy and lay the foundations for constructive cooperation, cultivating a shared vision and aspirations among all stakeholders. These awards reinforce the DCO's role as information provider, advocate, facilitator and advisor, accelerating the sustainable growth of the digital economy and the digital transformation of Member States, further enhancing welfare, social stability and cooperation to achieve digital prosperity for all."
