The King of Morocco exchanged greetings with Moroccans who applauded him from the seafront promenade in Cape Black

After arriving in Tetouan from Samia Ramek airport, located in the north of the country, the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, received a warm welcome from local citizens.

In the scenes, which were recorded by individuals present, the King of Morocco can be seen riding a jet ski in Cape Black accompanied by his escorts who were in other similar boats. The recording also shows dozens of people responding to the king's greetings with cheers from the surrounding area.

This visit by the king is more common than it might seem. Although there were no reports in the media, at the beginning of June, the Alawite monarch was also seen riding his jet ski between Rincón and Fnideq.

On another occasion, more than five years ago, the King of Morocco was also seen on a similar boat belonging to the Royal Court's fleet, passing close to the area where bathers were swimming. As on this latest occasion, they also greeted and cheered him.

According to the Spanish media outlet El Faro de Ceuta, the presence of the Moroccan monarch on the northern coast of the country coincided with the celebration of Eid al-Adha, which took place for the first time without the sacrifice of a lamb.
