Marruecos: un modelo de liderazgo para un mundo de paz

Morocco's ambassador to Chile, Kenza El Ghali, highlighted the North African country's commitment to promoting peace, security and combating violence and terrorism. These efforts have helped Morocco become a world leader in the field of security and violence prevention.
The ambassador also said Morocco is open to cooperate with the rest of the world to promote peace and security in the region, as reported by Morocco World News. Kenza El Ghali highlighted the leadership of King Mohamed VI in Morocco, praising his efforts to promote peace and tolerance in the region. He stressed that the policies implemented by the King have led to an improvement in the socio-economic situation and greater stability. The ambassador also highlighted the Kingdom's work to promote human rights and freedom of expression, while stressing Morocco's work as a bridge of understanding between the Arab world and the West.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres highlighted Morocco's contribution to the fight against terrorism, organised crime and criminality, which are global concerns. El Ghali also stressed that Morocco is a key player in UN peacekeeping missions. He praised the country for its commitment to regional peace, development and international cooperation. Finally, he urged the international community to continue working together to ensure security, stability and prosperity.

The Moroccan Ambassador to Chile highlighted the importance of the implementation of a clear and proactive strategy to promote peace and security, in particular the development of the security sector, cybersecurity, education, religious justice and migration policies. This strategy has enabled the Kingdom to improve its international image, while contributing to the stability and well-being of the entire region. Ambassador El Ghali also noted that the country has made significant progress in the field of human rights, particularly with regard to gender equality, freedom of expression and religious freedom. In this regard, the diplomatic representative stressed Morocco's commitment to respecting human rights and strengthening democracy and freedom. The Moroccan ambassador stressed the Kingdom's commitment to support the Palestinian cause and peace in the Middle East. King Mohamed VI has placed the Palestinian issue on a level of priority equal to the Moroccan Sahara. This demonstrates the country's commitment to peace and justice.
Morocco ranked first in the Diplomatic Courier's Good Country Index (GCI) published in 2022. The country was recognised as the most important contributor to international peace and security, according to the study. The index measures the international commitment of countries to contribute to global peace and security, as well as sustainability, democracy and human rights. In addition, the country was the first to receive the Nobel Peace Prize in 2020 for its efforts in the field of international security. This reflects the country's efforts to contribute to international peace and security, which is reflected in the index.

It is worth noting that Morocco's Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, recently met with the Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, William Burns, to discuss the intensification of strategic cooperation between the two countries in the fields of security and intelligence sharing. This meeting comes at a time when Morocco has made its relationship with the United States one of the main pillars of its national security strategy. Through Morocco's participation in various global peacekeeping initiatives, the country has demonstrated its leadership and commitment. This highlights Morocco's commitment to international cooperation and the promotion of global peace, and should serve as an example for other countries.
