Morocco continues to consolidate its relations with other countries and is beginning to play an important role in the diplomatic relations of many nations. The Alawi country is preparing to receive visits from different nations to celebrate the event of the Parliamentary Dialogue Forum of the Senates and Similar Councils of Africa, the Arab World, Latin America and the Caribbean. From 3 to 5 March, the Kingdom will host the event to address the challenges faced by all these territories, which are linked by more than just friendship.

The main objective of this meeting is to further strengthen the diplomatic relations between these countries, as well as to continue working together in all areas. It will seek to forge more alliances between these territories while launching new initiatives and strategies to promote and strengthen dialogue, solidarity and mutual development.

The Alawi kingdom serves as a point of union between all these countries, as it is the gateway both to access the African and Middle Eastern markets, and to enter the Latin American market. Moreover, for years, Morocco has been holding meetings with the aim of improving diplomacy between them. According to the Moroccan government itself, they are striving to form a new global axis that blends the Arab world, Africa and Latin America.

The Moroccan capital, Rabat, will host the event, and the first day will be devoted to focusing all the activities related to the Association of Senates, Shura Councils and Similar Councils in Africa and the Arab World (ASSECAA), which this year celebrates its eleventh edition. Naama Mayara, President of the Chamber of Councillors and the President of the Association will give the keynote speech opening the forum. Afterwards, a report will be presented to the General Secretariat which will give an account of all the activities carried out during the last conference.

Through these events, the prospects for further joint growth in the future will also be discussed. Three committees will then be formed, which will be in charge of the event and where all discussions will take place. These include the Finance Committee, the Programme Committee and the Final Declaration Committee

In the latter, representatives of the countries' senates will address the conference, which will mainly revolve around Afro-Arab cooperation as a result of the rehabilitation following the ravages of the coronavirus. The second issue will revolve around the future of young people and women with regard to their entry into political and economic issues, as well as sustainable investments

On the last two days, the 4th and 5th, the forum will be dedicated to the "South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum". In this event, the senates and councils of all the countries that make up the event will meet to discuss cooperation issues.
