As reported by Alakhbar Press, the Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, revealed a total of 29 new appointments in police management positions within the public security and public information services. Among the most notable appointments are a deputy head of the regional security region in Tiznit and ten heads of police departments in the cities of Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, Mohammedia and Kalaat al-Sraghna. Another aspect of these appointments is the establishment of security frameworks in the decentralised services of the uniformed police. These include the appointment of 12 heads of urban corps and road traffic teams in the cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Bouznika and Midelt, as well as an associate head of the Sensitive Installations Protection Group in Fez.

The General Intelligence Services have also undergone significant changes with appointments in the Dakhla regional security and the Azilal regional security zone. This includes the appointment of a head of the General Investigations Division in Azilal and three team leaders affiliated to the Regional General Intelligence Service in Dakhla.

The main objective of these appointments is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the police's human resources. The rotation of senior positions is intended to provide ample opportunities for qualified and well-trained security personnel to take over field management in various police units. This approach aims to promote work plans that prioritise the security of citizens and the protection of their property. This is intended to strengthen security measures and ensure public safety.
