The MSP expresses to the UN envoy for the Sahara its unease about the death of young Saharawis

The Movement Saharawi for Peace (MSP) has expressed its dissatisfaction to Staffan de Mistura, personal envoy of the UN Secretary General for Western Sahara, over the death of young Saharawis in a war which should have stopped long ago.
Hach Ahmed Bericalla, first secretary of the MSP, sent a letter to Staffan de Mistura to express this clear message of protection for the Saharawi population.
Text of the letter:
Dear Mr. Staffan de Mistura
Personal envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Western Sahara:
I am writing to you again to inform you of the death of three people and the injury of three others in the course of a Moroccan drone intervention in the north-eastern region of Mahbes. According to information received immediately, one of the three injured later died of serious injuries sustained during the attack.
In expressing our displeasure at the fact that innocent young people, usually children of poor families, continue to lose their lives in a war that should have been stopped long ago, I can only ask you to spare no effort to put an end, as soon as possible, to this useless bloodshed.
It is no secret to anyone that those who are determined to continue the war have their children and families safe and far away from the scene of death.
Finally, I reiterate my confidence in you and in the urgent initiatives you can take to silence the weapons and make way for dialogue and peaceful means in order to put the parties on the path to a definitive peace agreement in our region.
Please accept my warmest greetings and my best wishes for your success in this complex and difficult mission.
Hach Ahmed
First Secretary of the MSP
