Asociaciones y víctimas del terrorismo exigen junto a ACAVITE que la justicia española actúe contra Brahim Ghali

13 associations and groups of victims of terrorism have joined the Canary Islands Association of Victims of Terrorism (ACAVITE) to demand through an official statement that Spanish justice "take advantage of the presence of Brahim Ghali in Spain so that he answers before the Audiencia Nacional" just when the Spanish police have identified the Polisario Front leader admitted to a hospital in Logroño, as has been reported by various media.
Several organisations such as the Saharawi Association for the Defence of Human Rights (ASADEDH) or ACAVITE itself accuse Brahim Ghali of having outstanding accounts with the justice system for alleged crimes of genocide and terrorism, and now the Spanish justice system is urged to proceed against the leader of the Polisario Front.
Full text of the statement of associations and victims of terrorism together with ACAVITE:
13 associations and victims of terrorism and the Association ACAVITE, ask the Justice to take advantage of the presence of Brahim Ghali in Spain, so that he answers before the Audiencia Nacional for the 300 terrorist attacks against workers of FossBucrá and fishermen from the Canary Islands, which he perpetrated under his mandate as president and minister of the Polisario Front, in the 70's and 80's in the former Spanish Sahara.
The large group of Spanish victims ask the Audiencia Nacional to clarify - as they have been denouncing for years before this judicial body - "the numerous deadly and seriously injured attacks - which have not been prescribed -", as a consequence of the bombs placed, under the orders of the former Minister of Defence and President of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, on the conveyor belt of the phosphate mines of Foss-Bucraa from 1974 to 1986 (Aaiún, in the former Spanish Sahara). And later, and in parallel, when they machine-gunned, kidnapped, assassinated with deadly bombs, wounded, and exploded bombs with massive machine-gunning against boats, and kidnapped Spanish national fishermen, from 1974 until 1986.
The 300 Canarian victims of terrorism affected and their direct relatives by the terrorist attacks promoted and conceived by the Polisario leader, Brahim Ghali, "do not want, nor can they let pass in silence, the humiliation and contempt that the presence of this allegedly bloodthirsty Polisario leader - and others - means for the families affected, "by allowing him illegally to enter Spain with a false identity, entry into Spain under a false identity, when the Audiencia Nacional (National High Court) has ex officio evidence and registration - in May 2012 - of the terrorist attacks against Spanish compatriot nationals, mostly from the Canary Islands, for deadly bomb attacks against qualified civilian workers of the phosphate mining company of Foss-BuCraa (first wave of Polisario attacks; 1974-1976. Aaiún in the former Spanish Sahara), for murdering, kidnapping, wounding, machine-gunning and making disappear at sea, entire fleets of sailors and fishermen from the Canary Islands, Galicia, Andalusia, the Basque Country, together with other citizens from other international countries, respectively (2nd wave of Polisario attacks)". It is worth reminding the public that the leaders of the POLISARIO FRONT, were expelled outright, and with the closure of their offices of their Saharawi delegation in the centre of Madrid, by the former president Felipe Gonzalez, (in October 1985), after the bloody attacks and subsequent murder of the boatswain of the Canary Islands artisanal boat "El Junquito", with serious injuries after the explosion and subsequent kidnapping of the entire crew held in Tindouf (Algeria). When the Spanish Navy patrol boat "Tagomago" went to their rescue and assistance, a new terrorist attack took place, with several soldiers killed and wounded".
In compliance with the rule of law, justice and the guarantee of the public authorities, we urge the authorities, the national government, the ministries involved, political parties, countries and third parties involved, to "intervene immediately to clarify before the National Court and the relevant official bodies, the attacks perpetrated by the Popular Revolutionary Front of El Hamra and Rio Oro, which operates under the acronym "Frente Revolucionario Popular El Hamra y Rio Oro", which operates under the acronym of the POLISARIO FRONT-, and "that the president of the POLISARIO FRONT Brahim Ghali be arrested as soon as possible, given that "he has been allowed illegal entry and treatment in a public hospital in Logroño, being wanted for brutal terrorist bombings with murders and very serious injuries against Canarian civilian workers of the phosphate mining company of Foss-Bucraá (in the former Spanish Sahara). Besides "being the presumed intellectual and material author, and the one who ordered the machine-gunning, murders, mass kidnappings, very serious injuries, and disappearances of Canarian sailors' crews on the high seas in the decades from 1973 until the end of the 19th century".
FOR THESE REASONS WE DEMAND THAT THE PUBLIC AUTHORITIES
1. -We remind Spanish and international public opinion of "the moral, political and legal obligation of our leaders, especially the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Arancha González-Laya, and the Canary Islands Minister of Health, Carolina Darías, both ministers of the current national government, that after their public statements in which they "defend and endorse above all, the alleged humanitarian reasons," (Minister Darías made them coincidentally and also in Logroño, Spain), they should "defend and endorse the alleged humanitarian reasons, (Minister González-Laya made them coincidentally and also in Logroño, Spain), in which they "defend and endorse above all else, the alleged humanitarian reasons (Minister Darías made them coincidentally and also in Logroño, where Ghali is), regarding the illegal entry and treatment of the president of the POLISARIO FRONT, Brahim Ghali, as opposed to the legitimacy, attention, recognition, reparation and suffering of the 300 people of the POLISARIO FRONT, recognition, recognition, reparation and suffering of the 300 Canarian victims of terrorism and direct relatives of attacks perpetrated by the POLISARIO FRONT, facilitating collaboration with the judicial authorities in their summons on 5 May 2021, so that he is arrested, and so that there is no temptation from different spheres to facilitate impunity, laundering, judicial and administrative alibi/cover-up, or facilitating the escape from justice of the president of the POLISARIO FRONT Brahim Ghali, ("as happened with the ETA member De Juana Chaos, when he was released from prison for medical reasons for an alleged terminal illness, fleeing Spain, and subsequently living in Venezuela").
2. -All the undersigned victims of terrorism in Spain urgently request that Justice and the Public Authorities preserve the truth of the events that took place with rigour, recognition, dignity, reparation, memory, and that they enforce the rule of law, so that no one is tempted to justify, systematically deny, deny, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, impose, systematically deny, give impunity, or distort the reality of the terrorist actions, after-effects and traumatic experiences that occurred as a consequence of the very serious terrorist attacks "ordered by the Polisario leaders, as well as their current leader, Brahim Ghali. The Canarian victims of terrorism of ACAVITE are citizens, Spanish national compatriots, who are already recognised as victims of terrorism by the Spanish State and the Ministry of the Interior for attacks perpetrated by the POLISARIO FRONT - with the same rights and recognition as those of ETA, 11M, jihadist terrorism, GRAPO, or MPAIAC, among others, for years. And what they demand is that the rule of law, the judiciary, the public authorities, political bodies and the media avoid by all means the temptation of impunity and judicial alibis before the Audiencia Nacional, as in the case of the Polisario leader Brahim Ghali and other Polisario leaders. And not to allow the exculpation and impunity of his bloodthirsty terrorist attacks, as well as "the possible escape after his cure of his alleged illness", under "alleged humanitarian reasons". Justice and the Spanish public authorities, national and international actors, public opinion and the media must protect the victims of terrorism in the Canary Islands who have been subjected to brutal attacks by the POLISARIO FRONT in the 70s and until the end of the 80s, "to avoid their humiliation, contempt and disaffection, and not to fall into collaboration, aid, exaltation and humiliation of the victims, by the alleged terrorists wanted and captured". ACAVITE "is a Spanish association of victims of terrorism, which has no relationship with other groups of other associations of victims in Morocco or the Sahara, which, in parallel, have, or have made other complaints in the Audiencia Nacional". On the other hand, "we condemn and show our most energetic repudiation and categorical rejection of any of the official justifications alluded to, and/or alleged humanitarian reasons, which could help Brahim Ghali to escape from the terrorist actions perpetrated, whether by political, public, and/or legal authorities, "given that he has been surprisingly and irresponsibly provided with the logistics, transfer, free payment for treatment, and free payment of the cost of treatment, as well as the cost of the medical treatment, free payment for treatment, and illegal entry into Spain with another identity, to be treated in a public hospital in Logroño (La Rioja), Spain", when the Spanish victims united in ACAVITE, (mostly orphans, widows and sick surviving victims), suffer even today, a lamentable situation of abandonment, impoverishment, lack of protection, lack of reparation and restitution in many aspects, most of these Canarian families. It is worth remembering that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, directed by González-Laya, has recently granted the Polisario Front "a large and millionaire subsidy of 23 million euros in the concept of "humanitarian aid".
