The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community addresses the debate on freedom of expression and religious respect
In view of the conflicting positions on the "defence at all costs of freedom of expression" and "the respect due to people worshipped by believers of different religions", the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is organising this seminar to make known the true personality of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), so unknown in the Western world.
Also participating as speakers are Mr José María Alonso, national deputy in the 10th Legislature, with his dissertation 'Islam and Christianity: What unites us', and Mr Manuel Torres Aguilar, director of the UNESCO Chair for Conflict Resolution at the University of Córdoba, with his dissertation 'Intercultural dialogue in the face of the clash of civilisations'.

20:00 – 20:10. Mr. José María Alonso Ruíz. Islam and Christianity: What unites us'.
"I will comment on what unites us Christians and Muslims, the importance - today more than ever - of knowing each other and of collaborating for peace and religious freedom in the world. Those of us who practice a religious faith should be an example, especially those of us who come from the same God.
20:10 – 20:20. Mr. Manuel Torres Aguilar: 'Intercultural dialogue in the face of the clash of civilizations'.
"In my intervention I will try to describe in the shortest time possible the bridges that we can build between different religious cultures that we are obliged to live together and coexist because we are part of the same planet and in a world where borders no longer exist, or at least are not as they were long ago. It is fundamental that we know how to relate to those who have another culture, another way of thinking or other beliefs different from our own.
(20:20 – 21:00). Question and answer session.
