Madrid hosted the Africa-Spain Cooperation Summit in which the investment opportunities that Africa offers to Europe and specifically to Spain were identified. Africa is a continent of opportunities for Spain and Spanish and African representatives from more than 20 countries participated in Madrid in the first Africa-Spain Cooperation Summit which, organised by One Africa Forums, aims to build bridges and show the possibilities offered by the African continent. On the other hand, early presidential elections will be held this Sunday in Ecuador under the sign of political assassinations at the hands of organised crime and drug trafficking mafias. The death of candidate Fernando Villavicencio has marked the last days of the electoral campaign in a country suffering the chaos imposed by narco-terrorists. Gabriela Ortega Jarrín, political scientist, political analyst and director of strategy at Aleph, will provide all the details on this issue.
Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine rages on. Some within NATO are already suggesting that Ukraine should cede territory in exchange for NATO membership, while the government in Kiev is categorically rejecting this and forcing Ukraine to rectify its position. On the ground, the Ukrainians are gaining ground. Journalist and correspondent in Ukraine María Senovilla and international analyst Lucas Martín will discuss the latest developments in the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory.
