"De cara al mundo": international analysis on Onda Madrid

"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals with international current affairs every week.

The Middle East is going through a complicated time due to the latest conflict following Hamas's attack on Israel. The Israeli state continues to prepare its ground operation against Hamas after the terrorist attack by the Palestinian Islamist group and gives 24 hours for the evacuation of 1 million people in Gaza.

The bombardment of Gaza continues and so does the firing of rockets from Gaza into Israel. More than 2,700 dead and more than 5,000 wounded is the toll on both sides, a situation caused by the escalation of violence due to the Daesh-type terrorist action, with horrifying atrocities, carried out by Hamas terrorists, supported by outside elements. 

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reinforces Washington's support for Israel, where a unity government has been formed, and accuses Hamas of using civilians in Gaza as human shields.

Moreover, this difficult scenario may also affect the international economic situation, which has been in a state of permanent crisis since the COVID pandemic.
