"De cara al mundo": international analysis on Onda Madrid
"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, analyses international current affairs on a weekly basis.
Israel has attacked several Iranian cities and an Iranian military air base in the city of Isphahan with drones. The Ayatollahs' regime has a large part of its nuclear complex in Isphahan. There have also been attacks on unofficial Iranian bases in Syria and Iraq. In response, the Iranian Defence Council has met and claims that the damage has been very limited. The reaction will now be seen and the US had demanded that Israel's response to last weekend's Iranian attack be restrained to avoid direct confrontation.
Over the weekend, Iran launched hundreds of drones and missiles in a strike in retaliation for a bombing of its embassy in Syria. Friday's attacks came hours after the US veto on Thursday thwarted a vast diplomatic offensive at the UN to grant Palestine full membership status.
Elsewhere, the war in Ukraine continues. The European Council spent two days deciding its position on the conflicts in Gaza, with the confrontation between Iran and Israel, and Ukraine, where they noted the need to unblock aid to the Ukrainians, especially in terms of anti-aircraft systems.
The journalist and correspondent on Ukrainian territory, María Senovilla, and the expert international analyst, Lucas Martín, will detail the most important aspects of these issues.
Meanwhile, the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region in Morocco offers great investment opportunities. The Regional Investment Centre of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region has offered an event with a programme full of detailed presentations on the regional territorial offer, as well as inspiring testimonials from Spanish business leaders already established in the region. This combination makes this event an indispensable meeting point for investors interested in exploring new horizons and benefiting from the promising advantages offered by the TTA region, considered as a privileged economic destination with global competitiveness.
As every Friday, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will discuss the crisis in the Middle East with the Gaza war between Israel and Hamas and the attacks carried out between the Israeli state and Iran, the war in Ukraine with EU aid to the Ukrainian side, the threat to security in the Sahel region of Africa, the position of the United States with regard to the Chavista regime in Venezuela and the elections in India.
"De cara al mundo", Friday 19 April from 22:05 to 23:00.
