The election campaign in the United States continues. The Democrats change the rules so that Kamala Harris can be nominated as the Democratic Party's candidate in the presidential elections next November after Joe Biden's decision to withdraw from the race. A very solemn Biden in his speech on television where he explained the reasons for his decision to make way for Kamala Harris.
The new candidate had a litmus test these days in Washington with the presence of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Harris did not attend Netanyahu's address to Congress, but met with him the next day to tell him that it is time to end the war in Gaza. Biden also called for a ceasefire during their meeting in the White House Oval Office.
