‘De cara al mundo": international analysis on Onda Madrid

Israel resumes the release of Palestinian prisoners while Hamas hands over 8 new hostages. Israel and Hamas are in the first phase of the ceasefire, which will see the release of 33 Israeli hostages in exchange for almost two thousand Palestinian prisoners.

On the other hand, Donald Trump has begun his second term in office and with it a series of measures. From his first day in office, he signed several executive orders and proclamations in key areas such as immigration in the country, the exit from the World Health Organisation and the Paris Agreement. Among the most forceful measures are the declaration of a national emergency south of the border and the resumption of construction of the wall in Mexico.  

We continue in the United States. The worst air accident in the country since 2001 claims 67 lives after a military helicopter collides with a civilian aeroplane.There were no survivors. 

After a night of intense search operations in the Potomac River, with strong currents, murky waters and freezing temperatures, the authorities have confirmed the deaths of the 64 passengers on the commercial plane and the three soldiers who were taking part in an exercise on board the Black Hawk helicopter that crashed into the plane as it approached the runway at Ronald Reagan Airport in the US capital.
