‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals with world news every week.

US President Donald Trump's proposal to evict Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to create the Middle East Riviera has been rejected by most of the world, with the exception of far-right leaders. Aides to the US president claim that Trump feels capable of carrying out his proposal.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has welcomed the initiative, saying it is the first good idea he has heard. This statement comes after meeting with Trump at the White House.

In addition, Donald Trump's penultimate executive order prohibits trans people from participating in women's sports competitions. Meanwhile, a federal judge has once again paralysed the order stripping the US citizenship of the children of undocumented immigrants.

On the other hand, the war in Ukraine continues. Russian bombings against civilian targets in Ukraine continue, causing death and destruction, as the days go by and some are beginning to think that Trump's claims of ending the war in 24 hours are falling by the wayside.

Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla and expert international analyst Lucas Martín will analyse the key points on ‘De cara al mundo’.

As every day, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas; they will talk about Donald Trump's proposal for Gaza, the Middle East crisis, the political situation in the United States and the war in Ukraine.

‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 7th February from 22:05 to 23:00.
