‘De cara al mundo‘: international analysis on Onda Madrid

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals with international current affairs every week.
The European Council has failed to agree a rearmament plan in the face of the threat from Russian President Vladimir Putin and the alleged abandonment of NATO by the United States. The sanctions against Russia and, above all, the financing of the plan have caused serious differences between the partners, creating a very delicate situation for the European Union.
Meanwhile, negotiations to stop the war in Ukraine will continue in Saudi Arabia and Russia is continuing its attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities despite the apparent agreement reached in the conversation between Vladimir Putin and the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla will analyse the most important issues on ‘De cara al mundo’.
Elsewhere, Israel has resumed ground military operations in the Gaza Strip and bombings in different regions after the ceasefire broke down. The Israeli government says it will maintain its attacks in the face of Hamas' refusal to negotiate the release of the hostages it still holds.
The expert international analyst Lucas Martín will explain the most relevant issues.
As on each programme, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas; the discussion will cover the political crisis in Sudan, the contacts between the United States and Ukraine and Russia to achieve a ceasefire, the US international tariffs and the failure of the European Council's rearmament plan.
‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 21 March from 22:05 to 23:00.
